Description
We are currently looking for a Hardware Design Engineer for a freelance position in Zaventem. Our client is a scale-up active in the mobility sector.
Type of contract: Freelance
Start: ASAP
Location: Zaventem
Role Description:
- Work on the hardware design of the new connected modules. (already 3 new designs planned in 2021)
- Define electronic test plans and support creation of Design and Product validation tests plans
- Support the environmental and EMC tests run in internal or external labs
- Follow up HW topics with different stake holder, from Product team, or manufacturing team.
- Support of modules already on production
Profile :
· A Bachelor or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or any other relevant field
· At least 5 years of relevant experience as Hardware Engineer
· Fluent in English (French or Dutch would be an asset)
· Electronics design of connected modules using Zuken CR-8000
· LTE, Bluetooth, GPS module
· Product industrialization is a plus
· Background in automotive is a plus
