The client is looking for a Brand Manager to develop the marketing strategy of his Home Care segment.

With a rich portfolio of more than 50 brands in Home care, Food and Personal Care, they are offering a wide range of high quality consumer products, serving over 100 million families world-wide.

In Belgium, the company is part of the group since about 30 years, marketing and distributing the company's A-brands in three business areas: household cleaning products, canned food and pharmaceutical cosmetics.

Today, about 25 people are working closely together in Brussels, in a challenging and nice work environment.

Description

The Brand Manager Home Care mission is to drive all marketing and sales support activities of the Home care category (5 brands) in order to reach the division Net Sales and Profit annual targets.

He/she will directly report to the Marketing Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • CREATION & IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONSUMER MARKETING PLAN
  • He/she recommends the annual Marketing plan to the Bolton Belgium Management Team and to The group
  • MEDIA Plan (TV, Internet,…)
    • TV copy adaptations, postproduction (with JWT Belgium)
    • Media buying with the media agency (with Space)
    • Media Sales reactivity analysis (Nielsen)
  • PRODUCT MIX Management
    • Artworks development (with foreign agencies)
  • NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES
    • Definition of Tariff and Retail Selling Price Financials
    • Set up of Profit & Loss 3 Year Plan
    • Consumer activation launch plan
    • Customer activation recommendation
  • PROMOTIONAL PLAN
    • Implementation of the consumer promotional plan
    • Follow-up of customer activities
  • ANALYSIS & REPORTING:
  • Data analysis reporting, both towards Company in Belgium and The Group
    • Sell-In & Nielsen Sell-Out brand and market evolutions
    • Media, national & specific promotions sales reactivity analysis
    • New products results analysis
    • Cost of sales follow-up
    • Competition monitoring: new products / promotions
  • Budgets reporting
  • TRADE MARKETING
    • He/she will develop all necessary tools to support marketing/sales activities:
      • Creation of promotional SKUs and displays
      • Coordinate supply chain
      • New product trade presentations
      • Field sales force marketing briefings
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT
    • Accurate follow-up of Media, Marketing and Sales budgets

Profile
  • You have minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or trade marketing (home care experience is a plus - Retail or DIY or FMCG)
  • You have a positive mindset and see business challenges as opportunities
  • Entrepreneur, proactive, you work pragmatically with a commercial feeling
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • French and Dutch speaking with fluent level in English
  • You are a real team player.
  • Computer literate: Excel, Powerpoint, Nielsen
