De implementatie van de circulaire economie bij de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten en de verbetering van bestaande producten is een belangrijk aandachtspunt van de R&D-afdeling. Bovendien wordt voortdurend onderzoek verricht naar legtechnieken, aanbrengsystemen en recycling.

Voor onze industriële site in Perwez, zijn we op zoek naar een

R&D and Quality Manager

De R&D- en Quality Manager is verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en uitvoering van R&D-projecten in het kader van de activiteiten en prestaties van de vestiging in Perwez.

Hij bepaalt de "Kwaliteits"-aspecten en -criteria van de producten, op basis van de verwachtingen en goedkeuringen van de klanten. Zorgt ervoor dat de afdeling QC haar middelen gebruikt om de fabricageprocessen zodanig te controleren dat aan de vastgestelde productprestaties wordt voldaan.

Hij coördineert de industrialisatie van nieuwe producten die in de vestiging van Perwez worden geïndustrialiseerd.

• Coördineert het werk van de R&D- en QC-afdeling;
• Coördineert projecten met behulp van interne en externe middelen;
• Beheert budgetten van de afdelingen;
• Ontwikkelt budgetten en “product structure” voor producten die in de vestiging in Perwez worden gemaakt;
• Werkt samen met de Sourcing Manager om de jaarlijkse volumes van grondstoffen te definiëren;
• Neemt deel aan technische vergaderingen met leveranciers, voor grondstoffen (bitumen, polymeren, vulstoffen, versterkingen, verharding en verpakking);
• Stelt de specificaties van deze grondstoffen op en werkt ze bij;
• Zorgt voor de feed-back en uitwisseling van de nodige informatie naar de productie- en technische teams in verband met de ontwikkeling van grondstoffen en afgewerkte producten;
• Analyseert klachten in verband met eindproducten die in de Perwez-site worden vervaardigd;
• Zorgt voor de uitvoering van "Quality"-projecten;
• Lid van het personeel van de fabriek en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de directeur van de fabriek.

• Masteropleiding (ingenieurswetenschappen, wetenschappen) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
• Ten minste 10 jaar succesvolle ervaring in een soortgelijke functie;
• Zeer goede beheersing van het Office-pakket, met name Excel (dynamische kruistabellen, statistische berekeningen) Word (opstellen van verslagen en procedures) en PowerPoint;
• Uitstekende beheersing van Frans en Engels vereist. Nederlands is een pluspunt;
• Ervaring met een documentbeheersysteem van het type kwaliteitsborging;
• Goede laboratoriumpraktijken. MRP-systeem. ISO 9001. Systeem voor documentenbeheer;
• Bekendheid met de afdichting en de bouwomgeving ;

• The QC Analytical Expert will be working as part of the Quality Control department and provide technical expertise to the technicians and within the different projects.
• Under the direction of the QC Manager, continuously strengthen analytical & technical awareness and investigate technical/analytical issues using applicable process improvement and problem solving techniques to ensure successful testing and projects outcomes.

• Manage and review analytical activities for the different analytical methods of the different projects.
• Review experimental data or analytical documents (protocols, reports and/or analytical methods) in the frame of development, pre-qualification, qualification, validation and transfer of analytical methods (mainly HPLC/UPLC) within the QC department
• Participate in the trouble-shooting for routine and stability analyses in collaboration with QC technicians
• Integrates cGMP requirements (deviation, investigation, non-conformities) in analytical activities
• Participates as analytical expert to regular teleconferences and meetings with customers and internal team meetings as appropriate

• 5 years in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry (API is an asset)
• University degree in a scientific discipline with analytical background is mandatory (Chemistry is an asset)

• Strong laboratory skills and good knowledge of analytical chemistry
