HW design engineer
Main tasks:
- Work on the HW design of the new connected modules. (already 3 new designs planned in 2021)
- Define electronic test plans and support creation of Design and Product validation tests plans
- Support the environmental and EMC tests run in internal or external labs
- Follow up HW topics with different stake holder, from Product team, or manufacturing team.
- Support of modules already on production
Knowledge and experience in:
Electronics design of connected modules using Zuken CR-8000 (Bonus)
LTE, Bluetooth, GPS module (or any communication component )
Automotive world
Product industrialization is a plus;

Team/division description
The Manufacturing Planning, Export function is at the heart of Toyota’s manufacturing operations. From our headquarters in Europe and Turkey we manage global export of production parts collected from suppliers and delivered to the global manufacturing base. The scope of the operation includes:
• 200+ parts suppliers
• 40+ manufacturing locations
• Shipments from 5 vanning centres as well as direct shipments from regional plants
All operations are planned and organised in accordance with the concepts of the Toyota Production System (TPS) to achieve Safety, Quality, Just-in-Time and Cost objectives.
Your project
As part of an ongoing exercise to improve the competitiveness of our global production parts export activities, we are reviewing our Parts Ordering and Shipping Management processes and tools to achieve ever better levels of efficieny.
You will be part of the project team to define the ideal process and the roadmap towards implementing the new processes. After that, we will need to see through the implementation of the roadmap through nimble and efficient project management.
You will support the timely implementation of the roadmap by managing the sub-projects from concept phase to practical solution roll-out. This will involve data and process analysis to understand the current inefficiencies in detail, creation and evaluation of possible solutions, project schedule development and consensus with key stakeholders, as well as managing the schedule towards final implementation.
