JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The First Line Production Supervisor will lead all production and operating processes by being responsible for the operations agenda and leading an engaged team that will execute business deliverables. In this role, you will ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale objectives are met.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Directly operate or supervise the operation of the whole production line, lead all staff in the shift, including contract workers
  • Monitor and maintain proper safety requirements in the shift to ensure the safety of the staff.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality to ensure the products meet the required standards.
  • Provide training to the staff on relevant environmental health and safety requirements to ensure that all staff are trained in accordance with regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels in the plant
  • Minimum one year of directly related work experience
  • Fluent Dutch is required and English desired
  • Decisive and problem solver who can get things done
  • People manager
  • Result driven

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management
  • First experience with 5S, 5Why, Lean and Continuous Improvement

Your role

 

As Business Analyst, you are part of the team of SAP Business Consultants that translate, model, implement, and support the business needs into our SAP system. In this business partnering role, you work very closely together with the supply chain business and will focus on our Supply Chain processes within Order to Cash and Logistic execution. You will be trained in the ins and outs of our processes and the SAP systems and modules. 

 

Next to SAP, you are involved in different projects to optimize our business processes, where you work together with the other departments of Alpro and have a deep dive in processes and flows. You report directly to the Senior Business Enhancement Manager. You are mainly based at site in Zwevegem but have the flexibility to work from our production site in Wevelgem, head office in Ghent or other locations.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Project implementation and management: You analyze the business processes and translate them into our systems. You implement the project deliverables within the scope, time and budget. For example: the set-up of new commercial flows in the system to support our growth; optimizing other process flows; etc.

 

  • Change requests: To implement valuable business changes into the applications, you design the solution, estimate workload and business cases and you process the change requests from A to Z. You guarantee a cross departmental agreement on effects triggered by the change request.

 

  • Continuous improvement: To realize a smoothly running software environment, supporting the business processes, you are involved in a continuous improvement cycles.

 

  • Service: You organize training, in cooperation with key-users, around the implemented procedures and services. You capture and analyze user requests, advise on solutions, implement and document the solution in the software. Doing so, you support the user community in correct usage of the software environment. You answer incidents and ad-hoc requests as second line person in co-operation with a first line functional SAP service desk.

About you

 

  • You hold a Master Degree (or equivalent through experience) in ICT, Economics or Engineering.
  • You are fascinated by Order-to-Cash and Logistics and are eager to learn. You think together with the business about optimizations and its translation towards the systems.
  • You have 3y+ experience as Functional or Business Consultant with applications (e.g. SAP, NAV, AX, CRM, etc.). Experience within SAP SD/MM and with Logistics/interfacing (EDI) is a plus.
  • You have good analytical and project management skills.
  • You are a team player, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

As a Project Manager Engineering, you will:

Support the European Operation Platform in innovation / renovation projects implementation by:

About You

You have an background in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in a technical function, preferably in packaging and process technologies within the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industry. Fluency in English is a must, Dutch and French are a plus. MSP-AUTOCAD and experience in plant based industry is highly appreciated.

In order to be successful in the role you show:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within plants and suppliers
  • Good organization skills & adaptability

If possible, regular travels in Europe to follow up on project implementation in different plants and visit suppliers will be required (60%).

  • Je wordt verantwoordelijk voor de ERP-oplossingen binnen de verschillende divisies (M4 – AX2009 – D365) van de groep en staat in voor de planning, organisatie en het beheer van de diverse ERP-projecten.

Jouw profiel
  • Je kan terugblikken op een 5 à 10-tal jaar ervaring in ERP-implementaties, als senior expert/consultant. Ervaring in een leidinggevende/project-rol is mooi meegenomen.

  • Jouw kennis van AX is een must,  SQL is een grote troef.

  • Jouw ervaring in het werken met/in een KMO (al dan niet in de food/feed-sector) zorgt ervoor dat je van aanpakken weet.

  • Je bezit kennis van Trade & Logistics, Production, WMS, EDI,   …

  • Je bent analytisch sterk en bezit en goed data-inzicht.

  • Je communiceert transparant en pro-actief.

  • Jouw stijl kenmerkt zich als hands-on en praktisch; met een sterk oog voor details en gericht op verbeteringen.

  • Je bent bereid om te reizen naar de andere sites (Nederland, Frankrijk) en kan je ook voldoende vlot in het Frans uitdrukken.
