Onze klant, gevestigd in Gent, onderhoudt meer dan 25 vestigingen verspreid in Vlaanderen. Om een goede werking te garanderen, groeit niet enkel hun intern IT team, maar krijgen ze ook ondersteuning van andere IT partners. Samenwerking en aansturing zijn dan ook deel van jouw takenpakket. Het is een snelgroeiend bedrijf, waardoor je met hen kan meegroeien en hun IT afdeling in een goede richting kan brengen.

Takenpakket

•60 % van je tijd zal je instaan voor het opvolgen, analyseren, … van de database. Je berekent de nodige stappen en zal dit als een project aanpakken. Je werkt hiervoor samen met andere partners.
•De rest van je tijd sta je in voor het beheer van hun applicaties op hun eigen netwerk, voor de monitoring van de volledige IT omgeving, gebruikerslicenties toekennen, backups doorvoeren, …

Profiel

•Je hebt een enkele jaren ervaring in complexe serveromgevingen en databases.
•Kennis van windows server, AD, netwerken, office 365, monitoringsystemen, firewalls, VMWare,… kan weerleggen.
•Ten slotte ben je flexibel ingesteld (planningen wijzigen naar projecten toe), ben je communicatief, maar ook analytisch.

VIB is a Life Sciences research institute, based in Flanders, Belgium. VIB performs basic research with a strong focus on translating scientific results into pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial applications. The VIB Core Facilities constitute the centralized scientific research infrastructure of the institute and allow scientists access to high-end and innovative technologies. 

The VIB Core Facilities Program comprises 11 state-of-the-art core facilities, each with a specific technology focus and located on one of the VIB premises in Ghent, Leuven or Brussels (https://connect.vib.be/). The role of these core facilities is to support the 1500 researchers at VIB with their expertise. Within the core facilities, we have over 70 staff members and currently, we are looking for an Administration Support person to strengthen our teams of the Ghent-based facilities. 

Profile 

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience 
• You are proficient in written and spoken Dutch and English
• You are eager to learn
• You have strong social and communication skills 
• You are experienced in financial project management 
• You are meticulous, well-organized, structured and able to autonomously plan and execute tasks 
• You can combine a diversity of tasks and work with short deadlines 
• You are proficient in the use of general Office packages 
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. Agresso) is a plus, but not required 

Main activities 

You will support the heads of the 7 Ghent-based VIB Core Facilities (Screening Core, Flow Core, BioImaging Core, Protein Core, Proteomics Core, Metabolomics Core,  Bioinformatics  Core) for administrative, financial and logistic tasks. You will work closely with the administration departments of the Ghent-based Research Centers and VIB headquarters. 

Financial administration

• You are responsible for the preparation of quotes and bills
• You are responsible for invoicing
• You place orders
• You follow-up on payments and prepare financial status reports for the core heads 
• You prepare and assemble the reports of core activity data (e.g. amount of usage of machinery, active core users, investments done by the different partners)

General administration

• You streamline the communication between the core facilities
• You support a broad range of general secretarial tasks, e.g. reservation of meeting rooms, assemble contact info for/from collaborators, etc.
• You follow-up on HR matters and interact with VIB HR
• You support the core heads for agenda planning
• You keep the Core Facilities website updated

Responsabilités :

Après une période de formation interne (durée en fonction du diplôme et des connaissances préalables), vous effectuerez des visites individuelles chez les sinistrés pour le suivi des sinistres.
Les expertises concernent principalement les dommages aux bâtiments causés par l'incendie, l'eau/humidité, les accidents et autres risques.
Vous devrez enquêter sur la cause et estimer l'étendue des dommages, tester les dommages par rapport aux conditions de la police-assurance, évaluer l'intervention possible de l'assureur et fournir les explications nécessaires aux parties sur-le-champ.
Vous êtes le point central entre toutes les parties concernées (clients, assurés, contreparties).  Si nécessaire, vous devez également conclure un accord avec les parties concernées afin de déterminer le montant des dommages.
Vous serez également responsable de la gestion administrative des dossiers, comme la rédaction des rapports et la communication avec le client.

• Ingénieur civil ou industriel, architecte ou architecte, ou l'équivalent par l'expérience.

• Une connaissance pratique des aspects pratiques de la souscription est un avantage, mais aucune expérience spécifique n'est requise.

• Prêt à suivre une formation à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de l'entreprise.

What you’ll bring to the role

• 8+ years of relevant leadership experience in the healthcare, pharma or medtech industry
• Have a master’s in Business Administration, economics or similar
• Built high credibility and an existing network in the relevant industries on an international level
• In depth knowledge of the relevant markets and changing business environments
• Deep understanding of the changing environment within the Healthcare sector
• Experience with P&L management and external funding. Strong financial acumen.
• Experience in building, managing and motivating cross-functional teams in a product environment
• Very fluent to Native English level, other languages are a plus
• Experience with representing a business both externally (e.g. as keynote speaker on industry events) as to advisory board and investors
• Ability to build strong external relationships to strengthen Healthblocks’ profile
• Experience with leading comparable organizations in the digital health industry

Job description

• The Center for Medical Biotechnology is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT team member to manage our IT systems and to support our 150 users.
• Together with a colleague, you are responsible for managing the server infrastructure of the center, including the e-mail server, network shares, intranet, backup services, network routers and switches, WiFi and shared printers.
• The IT team is also responsible for the daily support of the users in the Center, the preparation of new PCs, user account management, and the purchase and maintenance of hardware.
• You work in a rapidly developing and challenging environment in which you, based on your own input, help to tailor the IT support to the needs of the researchers in the Center.

Profile

• You are a professional Bachelor of (bio) informatics or equivalent through experience
• You are communicative and enjoy working in an international team
