As an ICT purchase manager, you will find yourself in a dynamic environment in which interaction with the internal customers and suppliers is central. You maintain relationships with various stakeholders and with your systematic and accurate approach you manage a wide variety of purchase files together with a multifunctional team. In addition to your helicopter view of the parallel assignments, you have the opportunity to delve into them and you are also involved in the execution of the contracts.With your acquired knowledge of public procurement legislation and your assertiveness, you will be able to provide professional advice to your internal customers

Specific tasks:

  • You are responsible for the sourcing activities in the ICT related categories of services / deliveries (hardware, software, consultancy) for which you are responsible from A to Z (from installation to implementation). You manage framework agreements and contacts with suppliers.
  • You contribute to a healthy financial return of the company by striving for maximum quality and the lowest possible Total Ownership Cost.
  • You guarantee the supply and monitor the quality of the products / deliveries / services purchased for your internal customers.
  • You actively manage your purchasing categories and develop strategies to optimize the supplier base, attract innovation and guarantee business continuity.
  • You contribute to the development of a multi-year plan of purchasing and sourcing initiatives.
  • You participate in the continuous improvement of the processes of your service and the optimization of the tools used to increase the professionalism and maturity of the purchasing organization.


  Required experience
                     
  • You have a university degree 
  • You have relevant experience in purchasing and  at least some years in ICT-related purchasing activities (must)
  • You have knowledge of public procurement or are prepared to master this subject
  • You are dynamic, proactive and deadlines give you that extra drive
  • You are someone who likes to negotiate and this in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • You have a sharp analytical mind and you work very accurately
  • You express yourself fluently in Dutch and French and you have a good knowledge of English
  • You are fluent in MS Office applications (must), knowledge of SAP MM is an asset
